Customize your IKEA stuff
When you decide to go at IKEA you already know that you will come back with something new. Probably it will be an usefull object, but at the same time not necessary before.
Your tools are:
- paper rule
- pencil (or many more)
- a sheet to note code, measurement, price (remember your budget!)
- imprecise dimension of your house (you are not gone out to buy something)
- your imagination and your skill
...don't forget a little dose of patience (drawing instructions are not always clear)
Ikea Hackers is a website with a collection of modifications on and repurposing of Ikea products. Everyone can upload his own hack, publishing photos and describe his work
For example, this one is a walk-in closet made starting from a PAX wardarobe .

The hacker use only PAX sliding doors and customize glasses with male and female silhouette.
