Real Juice Boxes

To show that Camp’s fruit juice is all natural, Brazilian creative agency AGE Isobar grew fruits into box shapes—to create ‘real juice boxes’.

The agency made ‘molds’ in the shape of juice packs for the fruits, and hung the molds on the trees of the farms in Paranapanema, São Paulo, Brazil.

When the fruits grew and ripened on the tree, the fruits became the shape of a Camp juice box.

Plastique Fantastique

Plastique Fantastique is an architecture studio that samples the performative possibilities of urban environments. Based in Berlin, Plastique Fantastique was born in 1999 and has been influenced by the unique circumstances that made the city a laboratory for temporary spaces. Plastique Fantastique’s synthetic structures affect the surrounding space like a soap bubble does: it is a foreigner which occupies and mutates usual relations and points of view. By mixing the landscape, it gives birth to a new hybrid environment that allows an osmotic passage between private and public space. The installation crop the subject from its context by beaming it into a new realm of space. Whether people interact with the bubble simply by seeing it, or walking around the exterior, or actually moving through the interior, the structure is a medium to experience the same physical setting in a temporary extraordinary situation. Plastique Fantastique creates light and fluid structures that can lay on the street, skirt a wall, infiltrate under a bridge, squeeze in a yard, float on a lake, invade an apartment and generate an “urban premiere“.

Laco Abacus: watch without hands or numbers

This watch, designed by Roy Schäfer and produced by Laco, combines functional efficiency with a playful element. Without a watch crystal and without watch hands a ball is used to tell the time. The ball is freely movable but an ingenious magnetic system always resets the ball to the exact time when the wearer moves their wrist to a vertical position the position you move your wrist to when telling the time. An elaborate high quality quartz movement guarantees exact control of the ball which is incorporated in the housing.
