Laco Abacus: watch without hands or numbers

This watch, designed by Roy Schäfer and produced by Laco, combines functional efficiency with a playful element. Without a watch crystal and without watch hands a ball is used to tell the time. The ball is freely movable but an ingenious magnetic system always resets the ball to the exact time when the wearer moves their wrist to a vertical position the position you move your wrist to when telling the time. An elaborate high quality quartz movement guarantees exact control of the ball which is incorporated in the housing. The compact stainless steel housing and a high quality leather strap guarantee excellent wearing properties
