Probably Niemeyer is the longer lived architect and for his birthday he composed a song Tranquilo com a vida. The architect wrote this song in 2009, a year later his family decided to contact the musicians Edu Krieger and Caio Almeida to compose the rhythm of a samba for Niemeyer's text.
The song was released the day of the architect's birthday and first live played in 20 december 2010 at Rival Theatre in Rio de Janeiro during the show of Krieger with presence of Oscar Niemeyer.
Niemeyer said: ‘I don’t know where I find the time to play around with this, but my samba is just foolishness, a bit of fun, but nothing important.’
