Libeskind pool ceiling collapses in Bern

On April 12 at the poolside of the shopping/entertainment mall Westside in Bern a portion of ceiling plaster fell from a height of 10 meters injuring two people. For that Swiss centre is no the first time in this kind of problem, in fact, it happened a previous collapse three years ago.

The Westside was completed in 2008, after a three-year construction. Inside the building there are also a sauna and a spa, many shopping areas and restaurants, a cinema and a hotel. Already in 2008, just months after opening, a similar incident occurred with the detachment of the ceiling in a fastfood, accident in which two children were injured.

Now the property is seized and investigations are ongoing, Libeskind made ​​it known that it will release a statement only to an investigation concluded.
